Shiprocket Unveils Same Day Delivery Service In Hyd

Hyderabad: Shiprocket, an e-commerce enablement platform, on Monday launched Same Day Delivery (SDD) in Hyderabad. The fulfillment solutions include Same-Day Delivery wherein orders will be picked up between 12pm to 1pm from a merchant’s location and will be delivered on the same day. Under Half-Day Delivery service the orders will be picked up by 3pm from the seller’s location or warehouse and will be delivered on the same day with PICO as the courier partner.

This service is already live in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata. Shiprocket leverages its advanced tech-driven platform and strategic courier partnerships to bring quick commerce capabilities to a spectrum of sellers.

On the launch, Saahil Goel, Managing Director and CEO, Shiprocket, said: “By introducing Same Day Delivery, we are empowering MSMEs to compete with the best in the industry, providing them with tools to enhance customer experience and drive repeat business. On SDDs demand in the city, he further said, “Hyderabad is a high-potential e-commerce hub, with an average order value of Rs 1,850. The top three selling categories in the city include beauty & grooming, clothing & accessories, and books. SDD will provide Hyderabad-based sellers a powerful tool to drive repeat purchases and scale their businesses.”

The company has partnered with courier services like Pikndel, PICO, Blitz, Shadowfax, and Xpressbees, Shiprocket, to deliver orders from merchants.
